Tips For Pay Per Click Internet Advertising

Have you heard lots of scary stories about losing your shirt on Pay Per Click Internet Advertising? Don’t feel like you are the only one who has heard these stories because pay per click advertising is certainly a mystery to the majority
of people who are marketing products on the internet. Although some of the stories are true…they don’t have to be your story. This blog post will share some valuable tips to get you on the road to successful internet advertising.

You’re in the right place to discover valuable tips for a successful Internet business and how to promote it using Pay Per Click advertising.
Thanks to the internet, the entire world is your market. Buying and selling is as easy as a click on the keyboard.
There are many great products out there that one can promote; however learning how to advertise these products without going broke can be quite a challenge.

Tip #1

The first tip for using pay per click advertising is to know how to research and analyze your market. Those marketers who overlook this step, or don’t spend enough time to do their research will fail sooner or later. Research includes knowing what the demand is for your product, who the competition is and what they are doing, as well as knowing what time of year is the best for sales.

By doing the proper research, you can increase your profits considerably. In fact, your future affiliate marketing business is based on some keywords and key-phrases that are being searched all the time by Internet surfers. Now you can see why most business marketers can fail when they skip this important step.

Tip #2

Once you have done your research, it is time to pick your product. Think about timing the sale of a certain product to match a specific holiday, or a cultural event. For example Sunday, October 25th at 12:30am UTC / GMT there was an event called “Thrill The World”. This was an annual worldwide simultaneous dance of Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” If you do your research you can find a list of world wide holidays and events such as this.

One thing that we have found in our years of using Pay Per Click Internet Advertising is that the worst thing you can do is fall in love with your product. If you are getting clicks on your ad but no sales, perhaps it is time to find other products in that Keyword market.

Let the market dictate what you promote instead of your own personal likes or dislikes. If they are not buying it, find what they will buy.

Also, you should always be very specific between your ads, keywords and products. When you have an ad for Purple Widgets from France selling for 27.75, then you better have that item for your product, too. This might sound like commons sense but sometimes we forget to be specific and that can cost us valuable sales.

Remember: Don’t try to trick your customer into looking at your page, it will cost you in the end.

Tip #3

While each tip is important you definitely want to know how to control losing money with advertising that does not have a good return on your investment (ROI). Here are some things that are necessary to minimize your risks. Start with a low budget, and do not get into a bidding war for clicks. Even on sites like Yahoo and Google, you want to stay within your budget.

Figure out how much money you are willing to spend per month, and then per day for your advertising. Keep records of how many clicks you are getting per day, and if those clicks are resulting in sales. How much are you spending for advertising and what is your profit?

Advertising is the highest expenditure for most businesses. For people just starting out it is something you have to do in order to be successful. Since your overhead is most likely not as high as having a storefront, you should still make plans to get traffic to your web site through advertising.

After you have set up your web site you want to use the keywords featured in the landing page that visitors are taken to after they click on your ad. The ad and the page should be highly relevant. This is going to keep your costs from “click and run” visitors lower. The ad should give the visitor a good idea of what they are going to see after they click.

Google rewards ads and pages that are relevant, and penalizes pages and ads that are not. It is very important to take the time to write ads that compliment the site. Can you use the same words in the ad and on the landing page? Absolutely!

It is difficult to explain pay per click internet advertising in a short blog posting because there is a lot more to it than mentioned here. However Frank Terranova has studied and uses pay per click advertising very successfully each and every day.

Several of his associates have asked him for years, to put his methods into a book for people to have. He finally did, and in the book he covers these tips and a whole lot more. For more information on Frank’s great book, just click on the banner at the end of this post.

Clickbank-The Affiliate Marketing Marketplace

Clickbank – The Affiliate Marketer’s Marketplace Dream Come True

By: Ann Moss, Mastermind Pros

Many affiliate marketers utilize Clickbank for the promotions.  Since Clickbank is the largest provider of digital products on the internet, this only makes sense.  But how many of these affiliate marketers actually take the time to do research on what are going to be the best products to promote.   Do they look beyond what is the most popular or what has the highest gravity score?   How many new affiliate marketer know that there is much more to picking a product?  How many affiliate marketers actually take a look to see if the product they are promoting with Clickbank is actually friendly to the affiliate marketer?  Most new affiliate marketers only know to look at the popularity and gravity scores and then just start promoting the product.   They do not realize that professional affiliate marketers will create their own landing page if they don’t like the pitch page or if it is not affiliate marketer friendly.    An affiliate marketer friendly pitch page has a professional look, properly utilizes keyword density and has only ONE “out” off of the page. The “out” is what many new affiliate marketers miss when reviewing their product.   They will just start promoting a product because it has high popularity or gravity scores, not realizing that they are just promoting for the publisher and not for themselves.   When they don’t make any sales, many will get discouraged and quit.

So, the next time you review a pitch page, check to see if it has only any one of these “outs” included in the page. Ø

  •  Free newsletter opt-in box:  This is where the publisher offers a newsletter to anyone that signs up.   It has been proven that it sometimes takes up to 6-7 emails or newsletters before someone will make a purchase.   By getting the visitor to sign up for a newsletter, the publisher has the opportunity to get the 6-7 emails out to increase their odds of a conversion.
  • Free report opt-in box:  This is where the publisher offers a free report in exchange for an email address.   Again, the advantage here is that the publisher can now send out several email promotions/communications that will increase their odds of making a conversion.
  •   Free e-course opt-in box:  These have become very popular.  A person signs up for a 3-5 part course from the publisher.   Included in these e-courses are promotions, again increasing the odds of a conversion.

If any of these are on the page, it is human nature to sign up for the free stuff before making the commitment to purchase.  Each of these allows the visitor an “out” which benefits the product owner (publisher) and not the affiliate marketer.   When reviewing a pitch page, the only “out” you want on the page is the one that takes the visitor to the purchase page.  Now there can be several of these call to action “outs”, but they should all lead to the same page – the one that actually takes the order.   So next time you are reviewing a Clickbank product for promotion, make sure it is affiliate marketer friendly.  Remember – it’s all about getting the conversion that benefits both the publisher AND the affiliate marketer.

Do You Want A Sneak Peak At MMP?

Perhaps you are like I was a few years back.  I knew that there had to be a way to earn some extra income using the internet, but was not sure exactly where to begin.  Does that sound like you?

Well I started buying e-books.  Now I have an extensive collection.  I print them out, too, so you can only imagine how many notebooks full of good ideas I have.  The e-books were all great, however they never taught me what I have learned from the Mastemind Pros.

We all have our areas of exptertise, and we all strive to learn new areas and stay current on affiliate marketing opportunities on the internet.  Our coaches use what they teach quite successfully.  We are watching our members see profits, too!  It is all very exciting to watch people you have helped put it all into place and start making sales.

Affiliate marketing is not for the get rich quick mindset.  Honestly if you think there is get rich quick methods out there you will most likely be disappointed.  Everything takes time, and education.  If you do not agree, I doubt if you are still reading this blog.

What I am wondering now, is how many people would want to take a sneak peak at MMP and attend a training session to see what it is all about?  If this is something you would be interested, just reply to this post by leaving a comment.  I will relay the results to the MMP leaders and then add more to the blog or email you to update you of the results.

This is a great opportunity.  You can take us for a test drive.  Remember to comment so I can see the interest.  Once I read your comment I will notify Frank Terranova to set this up.

Ann Reviews Click Bank Products

By: Ann MossClickbank is the world’s largest internet provider of digital products.   Everyday many products are added to Clickbank’s marketplace for Affiliate Marketers to evaluate whether they want to promote that product or not.

Those that are new to Affiliate Marketing go to Clickbank and then try to sort through all the products and then set up campaigns and web sites to promote them.   Expectations are huge and all the hype that takes place with the “pitch pages” of the products can lead Affiliate Marketers down a path of self destruction.

Only a small percentage of people promoting products on Clickbank actually make the “big bucks”.   Those on the outside of this group don’t know what they have done wrong and after much effort, give up.

To assist those just starting out, there is a few things that can help in determining whether a product on Clickbank is worth promoting and has the potential to make money.   By using the following key points as a check list when reviewing pitch pages, it is easy to evaluate a good quality pitch page versus one that won’t convert for the Affiliate Marketer.

Key #1 – Understanding Keywords
This is a given when it comes to AdWords and promoting any product.   If your keywords are not relevant to the product you are promoting, no one is going to buy the product.   You have to look at this from the customer’s point of view.   If they type in a keyword in the a search engine and your product comes up, but when they open up the pitch page and the keyword didn’t match up with what they are looking for, they will just hit the “back” button on their computer and move on.   You just lost a sale.

Key #2 – The Headline
Does the headline stand out?   Does it capture your attention?   Does it create a desire for you to want to read more?   If it doesn’t, it’s time to look for another product to promote.   If you aren’t interested in reading the full pitch page, neither will be your customers.

Key#3 – What’s in it for me?
Again, put yourself in your customer’s shoes.   Think about the benefits and features of what the product is promoting.   Does it match up with your keywords for relevance and does it create a “what’s in it for me” desire to learn more.   How does it benefit your customer?

Key #4 – Is there a unique selling proposition?
Products that offer a unique selling proposition will sell much better than anything else.   What is unique about this product that other products are not offering?  How can you capitalize on this to gain a niche that others will miss out on?

Key #5 – Are there testimonials?
Are there testimonials?  These are important to show credibility of the product being sold.   A few are really good, too many and it can overwhelming and they will not be read.

Key #6 – Is there a guarantee?
Even though this is important for your pitch page and customers really look at them, Clickbank requires all products sold to have a 56 day return policy.  Now, if the guarantee is for longer than 56 days, it would catch my attention.

Key #7 – Is there a call to action?
It’s amazing how many pitch pages I have seen that have not had a call to action.  It’s really hard to make a sale if you don’t instruct a customer on what to do to make the purchase.

Key #8 – Are there “exits” off the pitch page?
Phone numbers, email address’, text links to other web pages, and opt-in boxes for newsletters, free offers, and trials are considered “exits” off of the pitch page that benefit the seller and not the affiliate marketer.  Look for all “exits” to make sure they benefit both the seller and the affiliate marketer.

Again, as an Affiliate Marketer, use these keys as a checklist to do your research on your products.    By taking the time to do this research, a new Affiliate Marketer can be well on their way to success.

Notes:  Ann Moss is the author of this article.  Ann is a coach at Mastermind Pros.  She is an eBay Powerseller, and also an affiliate marketer.  Her classes are always well attended at MMP.  If you have not met Ann yet, she is an incredible person.  I am not sure where she gets all of her energy to do all she does.  It will be great to have more of Ann’s articles to add to this blog in the future.  Soon we will be featuring Click Bank Money Reaper on this blog.  Ann authored it and it is a must have e-book if you want to learn Click Bank the easy and right way.

Hands On Classes Get Results

I have never heard of a coaching club that does what Mastermind Pros is doing right not to help people succeed.  I have purchased e-books, and trainings that are supposed to show me everything that I need to succeed, but somehow they did not give me all that I needed for success.  I am still a member of the go to work “rat race”, while working to have the multiple streams of income that are going to take the place of the full time “job”.

Frank Terranova really cares about the people who take time out of their busy schedules to attend the coaching classes that MMP offers.  Sure this is the official blog of Mastermind Pros and I might be a little biased. I also have the experience of spending way too much money than I care to mention here to get the type of help to succeed that I never really did get.  I hope that made sense.

Here is what all the buzz is about and what sets MMP apart from any other coaching program out there.  Frank has created JV partnerships for MMP coaching members.  What does that mean?  Frank is so sure that he can teach people to be successful affiliate marketers that he is putting his money on the line to get people off to successful ad campaigns and into profit using Search Engine Advertising such as Google and Yahoo pay per click ads.

Watching these partnerships blossom is really exciting. Groups of people from all over the world are joining together to plan successful ad campaigns.  The results of what is being produced is outstanding.  Everyone is having fun and gaining confidence in affiliate marketing.

The e-books might be great, but if you really want to make affiliate marketing a part of your life, this class is something this is making a difference.  Stay tuned for the updates on this.

Power of A Mentor For Affiliate Marketing

Here is a great Article by the President of Mastermind Pros, Frank Terranova.

Power Of A Mentor For Affiliate Marketing
 By: Frank Terranova

What is involved in working with a Mentor?   Why do you need it for getting started in Affiliate Marketing?  There are many things that a Mentor can help you with, but the best Mentors follow a very specific process that has proven results.   While they may have various names, there are three basic Stages that all good Mentors should follow.   Each Stage can be broken down into smaller pieces depending upon the need of your Affiliate Marketing Business.

1. Involving – the idea here is to clarify the purpose of what your expected outcomes are.   This includes goal setting.   You can have one goal or several goals, depending upon your situation.  You need to have long term goals and short term goals.   The short term goals need to support the long term goals.  They need to be as specific as possible.  For example:
a. Short Term:  To make $500/day with AdWords within 3 months.
b. Long Term:   To make $1,000/day with all business processes on a continuing bases; to be updated and reviewed every 3 months.

2. Developing – once your goals are set, an implementation plan needs to be put into place.    Keeping the long term goals in mind, you will begin putting together an implementation plan for all the short term goals.  For example:
a. Short Term Plan #1 – research and find profitable keywords in 3  days
b. Short Term Plan #2 – implement 1 AdWords campaign per day for 2 weeks.   Monitor daily, making improvements in keywords and testing various ads.
c. Short Term Plan #3 – take top 2 AdWords campaigns from STP#2 to design and implement landing pages.

3. Resolving – this is addressing any issues that may come up during the implementation and/or developing Stage.   This is where the experience and advice of your Mentor will really benefit you.    For example:
a. AdWords campaigns are not profitable – your Mentor will be able to help you analyze why they are not profitable and help you make changes.   Understanding why your campaigns are not profitable is a learning curve that is shortened with the support of your Mentor.
b. Finding profitable keywords and products.   If you are struggling in this area, your Mentor will be able to provide you guidance as to where to look and what to look for in matching up profitable keywords with good quality products.  Again, the experience of your Mentor will shorten your learning curve and soon you will be able to do this analysis on your own.

So where does success start?  Planning is the cornerstone of all successful people.   Many people look only at today or tomorrow.  It goes back to us being an “instant gratification” society.  We want it now.  But those who succeed, those who make the good money, they know planning and do planning effectively.

So how do you put together a plan?  Look at it beyond the money.   What is it that you want in life?   Do you want to pay off a few bills, buy a new house, buy a new car, or put money away for retirement?  Without understanding what it is you want setting goals can be difficult.   This is where a Mentor can help you focus on what your wants are and develop plans on how to get there.

Overall, the Mentoring process is a support system to help you achieve the goals that you desire.   While many people believe that they can do this on their own, those people who are achieving the best results in Affiliate Marketing will tell you that a Mentor made all the difference in their success.
