Not only is it January, but it is almost the middle of January! Did you do all you wanted to do in 2008?
Maybe a better question is: Did you start a new direction in your life in 2008? Did you resolve to do something: to make a change, to get a new job, to prepare for your future, to buy a home, to start a new project, to make more money, to get away from the same old same old and on to something new?

Did you do any of that? Are you further towards your goals in January of 2009 then you were in January of 2008? Did anything happen in 2008 that gave you hope for the future? What do you want to change in 2009 that you gave up on in 2008.

It starts with a dream! Did someone steal yours? Can you think of amazing things that
we have in our lives today that started only as dreams?

Indoor plumbing could be one of them. Men and women traveling in space and living on space stations is another. The first black president in the United States. Now that is a big dream, for a nation that speaks so highly of equality. Finally we have proof that the USA is a country where all races can live together and we can elect the person of the people and by the people and for the people.

Ok this is not going to be a political statement, but you must realize that the dream of a black man as President in the USA started a long time ago. It seemed that was something that would never ever happen, just because of the way things are. Or the way things were.

A dream! It starts with a dream. When your dreams get shattered, pick up the pieces and move on. What does not kill you will only make you stronger.
